For months I have been needing a new foundation brush as mine are both falling apart.
I picked up this EcoTools flat foundation brush from boots for £7.99. Bargain!! I know there are much cheaper brushes on the market, however this one seemed to be well made, looks great, comes in a reusable pouch and its all eco friendly!!
The brush handle is made from bamboo and the design of it means its comfortable to hold and easy to grip. The ferrule (between the handle and bristles) is made from recycled aluminium and adds the finishing touch to the brush making it look super sleek. The bristles of the brush are made of synthetic taklon and are 100% cruelty free.
The brush comes in a cute reusable pouch which has been made from recycled materials. I now personally store a few of my daily used brushes in this pouch to keep my makeup area clean and tidy but this will also come in handy for when I need to take my brushes in my handbag or for when I pack them for holidays!!
Using this brush is really nice. As I have said, the brush is easy to hold and grip for a start. The shape of the bristles means that the brush fits into all the nooks and crannies around your eyes and nose as well as the bristles being really soft and flexible to work around sensitive areas and give precise application.
Overall an amazing product. Eco friendly, easy and comfortable to use, decent price and looks great!! I definitely will be purchasing more brushes from this brand. I can't fault it!
