After visiting my Occupational Heath Doctor, I was advised on different methods to keep my panic attacks under control. One of these methods was to doodle or draw to relax myself and to distract my mind from the panic.
I have bought an adult colouring book which I plan on taking to work with me when I start my new job and also carry around in my handbag for when I am out and about visiting friends, shopping etc.
I have chosen Dream Catcher; A Soul Bird's Journey as my first colouring book to test the water. I purchased the book from Amazon and it cost me £5.70 including P&P.
It arrived a few days ago and I fell in love. The images inside the book are beautiful and each page has a completely different image which sends you into a different world.
I won't show you inside the book just yet as I'm saving that for this new series!! I plan to complete a single page at a time and upload images from beginning to end on a regular series of blog posts.
I'll also keep you up to date on how I feel this method of relaxation therapy is working along the way.
