Enough of the rambling, here' goes!!

Lord & Berry Liquid Eyeliner - Black:

Just as I was planning on hitting Boots to hunt for a new liquid eyeliner, my Wantable Box saved me the hassle!!

The Eyeliner comes in a fairly standard black box which I don't think is necessary but displays all product information.

The liner brush itself is a downfall. I hate it!! Its one of the hard rigid type applicators, I much prefer the foamy pen nip applicators and I'm an even bigger fan of the fine brush applicators. I found this applicator very hard to work with as precision in the inner corners and the wings was difficult and as the applicator was used regularly it became less pointed as time went on.

The liner itself is amazing!! You get 2.5ml which is a decent but standard amount for a liquid eyeliner. Its not completely matte but not super shiny and ridiculous looking. It lasts all day and is incredibly water resistant; I had had watery eyes, rain and tears but this liner stayed put all day despite these unfortunate events that set out to battle the liner.

This liner retails at $25 which is approximately £26.50 or €21, very expensive for a product of similar size and quality to those on the high street costing a fraction of this price. Would I pay this to replace this product when it runs out?? No. This decision is based on the price and also the applicator.

Bodyography Expressions Eyeshadow - Sleek:

I seem to receive an eyeshadow in every Wantable Box I get and all in very similar colours or identical colours. This eyeshadow ticks the identical box which I'm quite disappointed by. None the less, I use a tonne of chocolate brown shadows so I guess this will keep me stocked up!!

The shadow comes in a sleek white box with a cut out peep hole so you can view the product without removing it. I personally hate unnecessary packaging so this was a downfall.

The colour of the shadow is a chocolate brown with a hint of bronze/gold undertones. It is beautiful and one of my favourite colours to compliment my green eyes. This shadow is not overly shimmery/glittery which means it can be used to fill in eye brows and I would even say this could be used sparingly for a bronzer over a lighter shade to create depth!! If you want to use this shadow as an eye liner, wet your liner brush with either water or with a makeup fix liquid.

The shadow is applied very easily and a little can go a very long way. Its a smooth, creamy consistency which can be blended very easily and built up for more depth without looking chalky and cakey. I didn't notice any creasing or fading throughout the day which is a great bonus to this product as nobody likes to have to touch up their makeup during the day.

You receive 3g of product which is a fairly average size for an eyeshadow across the board. It should last you a long time even when used on a regular basis.

This shadow retails at $17 which is approximately £11 or €15 which is a decent price for a premium makeup product of this quality and size. Would I pay this to replace this product?? No, I found that although the quality was good, the colour is far too similar to that of a lot of products already out there.

Billion Dollar Brow Highlighter Pencil:

Oh my, eeeeeeek!! I have wanted to try Billion Dollar Brow's products for ages and now I have my hands on a beautiful Highlighter/Concealer Duo pencil!!

The pencil comes in a sleek white packaging which I'm slightly disappointed in as it seems like a waste of material however it does include the product information.

The pencil itself is a chunky pencil so a larger pencil sharpener is needed (I am now on the hunt for one!!).

The product is a double ended pencil giving you a concealer and a highlighter. As I am very pale skinned, the highlighter probably isn't as light as I'd like however both ends are great concealers. If you are medium or darker skinned, this product for sure is going to be too light.

The consistency of both ends of the pencil is incredible. Its very creamy and light to wear and its incredibly easy to blend and build up gradually. It gives great coverage for under eye circles, redness, spots and blemishes.

You get a great 2.98g of product which will go a very long way even with daily usage.

This BDB product retails at $18 which is approximately £12 or €15. Would I pay this to replace this product?? Yes!! Although the colouring is slightly darker than my requirements, its a great product to have in your makeup kit!!

Marie Natie Loose Mineral Eyeshadow - Jade:

This month I received 2 eye shadows in my box. This Marie Natie shadow is the second shadow however this one is a loose mineral shadow.

The shadow comes as it is!! No unnecessary packaging which wins extra points in my book!!

The pot is a standard 3g size but unlike other shadows, this one has a transparent circle at the top so you can see into the pot.

The shadow itself is a bit of a downer colour wise, its very samey to a lot of products that I already own and are readily available on the high street. Its a very pale grey green colour with a blue/lilac undertone and a slight metallic finish. As pretty as it is, its nothing amazing, I would quite happily pass it by in a shop.

Application of the shadow is fairly easy, its a nice smooth consistency which blends really easily however due to it being a mineral shadow, you do get a fair amount off fall out. It also isn't the best shadow for intense colour unless used wet.
I didn't notice any creasing throughout the day however it does fade very slightly after a few hours wear.

This shadow retails at $15 which is approximately £10 or €13 which is a great price for a premium product of this size and quality. Would I pay this to replace this product?? No, again, its down to the colour, although its a nice colour, its nothing out of the ordinary for me.
