These extensions are pre-sown clip in hair extensions, full head, 20" synthetic hair in the colour #4 Dark/Chocolate Brown. Dolled Up stock a HUGE range of products in many different colours made of both real and synthetic hair. Some of these products include Clip In Buns, Full Fringes, Ponytails, Half Head Wigs, Clip In Extensions, Fishtail Plaits and Full Wigs.
 
Colours for products are numbered correlating with colour number you would get on a home hair dye; so if you're unsure, check your dye or go look at dyes to get a rough idea.
 
These extensions retail at £23.99 which is a fantastic price for a full head of clip in synthetic extensions.
 
The packaging for these extensions was very ordinary, hair in a net with a cardboard insert and a plastic wallet to hold them in and protect from damage.
 
The hair itself feels and looks really high quality. As the hair is synthetic, it does look slightly plastic as it is extremely shiny. I felt that this made blending with my natural hair difficult as I have naturally curly, dry hair. This said, I felt that these looked much more natural in an up-do.
The hair is incredibly thick from root to tip which is great as often, a lot of hair extensions look false due to them being very thin and extremely thin and tatty at the tips. As the hair is synthetic, it is slightly heavier than human hair; I tend not to put all of the hair in if I'm wearing it all day as the weight gives me headaches and can get uncomfortable.
The hair seems to move as most clip in extensions do; its not 100% natural movement.
I have noticed no hair fall out or breakage for the past week and a half which is great; this company say these won't last as long as human hair, however I feel that these will last me approximately the same time if not far longer than human hair extensions.
These hair extensions are heat resistant... but only up to 160 Degrees Celsius which means most of my heated styling tools are out of the question. I set my curler to 150 to test this out; the hair hasn't melted at all and hasn't altered the quality of the hair however it hasn't curled at all. In fact, its straighter than it was originally!!
 
These extensions can be washed. It is recommended that you use a bowl/sink of water and add your shampoo to the water, shake your hair through the water and then shake excess water off. Hang the extensions to dry, out of sunlight and direct heat. As these are synthetic hair, the hair itself dries incredibly quickly however as the clips are on material, this takes a little longer.
After washing, the hair dries in the same style it was before washing but waves/curls are less pronounced.
 
The clips on the extensions are beautifully done, extremely neat and very discreet. They are fairly comfortable to wear however no clips will ever feel 100% comfortable. The clips themselves are of a high quality, they hold in place very well, are coated to avoid rusting and are a great size.
The only down side to purchasing pre cut and clipped extensions is that you do not get to alter the extensions to your head shape and preference. I have noticed that I am not using all of the extensions as my head will only fit a certain amount of clips in without being obvious however the length sizes of the extensions are varied so you can swap them around to find what works for you.
In this set, you receive 1 x 7", 2 x 6", 2 x 4", 1 x 3" and 2 x 2" (measurements are approximate).
 
 
 



Would I recommend these hair extensions? Yes!! However if you  are one of these people who love to use heat to style the hair I would recommend going for human hair as nothing held styling with these. The price is good and the quality is excellent.
If like me, you have dryer hair, these are perfect for up do's but maybe not if you're wearing your hair down as the shine in these extensions doesn't blend easily with naturally coarser hair.
