UPROSA stock many cases and textiles in a number of SciTech designs in many different colours, sizes and styles developed by scientists around the world.
The cases come in a number of different sizes for different phone/tablet brands and models.
The slim phone/tablet cases are constructed from a one-piece, impact resistant, flexible plastic hard case with a slim profile.
The case is a hard case which I prefer over the rubbery
The case I received is the Optical Fibres case in Black - "This image shows a fluorescent fibre, imaged using a confocal scanning microscope. This research investigates the use of optical fibres to detect the presence of specific proteins. If a protein binds to the optical fibre, it changes the fluorescence - indicating that the protein is present. Optical fibres have many useful applications, including light-based long-distance communication, and illumination. If you ever wondered how Swarovski crystals appear so dazzling in the shop window, that's thanks to the optical fibres in their display lights which maximise the sparkle!"
The case retails at £19.90 which is a reasonable price for something of this quality and uniqueness.
The material is really high quality; not bumps or rough edges and the design doesn't flake/scratch off. I have accidentally dropped the phone with the case onto concrete (oops!!) and the case didn't mark at all. The fit is really snug making it secure, yet easy to snap onto the back of the phone.
I have 2 minor issues with this case. The first is that it makes pressing the side buttons for volume and power difficult as the material is fairly thick making the buttons lower down. The second issue is the lip of the case around the screen making dragging things on the phone right to the side.
At the moment, UPROSA only ship throughout Europe however they are working on plans to be able to ship worldwide.
