For those of you who do not know what a Wantable box is, Wantable is a monthly subscription box in 4 different categories; makeup, accessories, intimates and fitness.
To receive a box, you go onto the website, fill in a quick questionnaire about your preferences for the box(es) you'd like to receive. This questionnaire asks questions about your skin tone, the type of skin you have and then you select products you love/like/hate. Wantable then hand pick 4 or 5 premium, latest trend, full sized products ready to send to you!! The products you receive will all be from your Love and Like categories and you'll never receive anything in your Hate category or a product which doesn't suit you skin type or tone. I opt for the makeup box as I'm fairly picky when it comes to underwear, clothes and jewellery.
The makeup box costs $40 (approx. £26 €33 excluding taxes) for a one off box or $36 (approx. £23 €29 excluding taxes) for a subscription which you can cancel or pause whenever you wish.
Shipping is free within the US and just $6-$10 for international customers. Wantable usually have a starter offer on so you can get a discount on your first order. Once you are a customer you can also earn $10 for signing up your friends!!
I live in the UK and delivery has been really reasonable. I was expecting to have to wait much longer than I have been. Once the order has been processed, I received my parcels within just over 2 weeks on all occasions apart from over the Christmas period which took a week longer. During these few weeks I have been able to track my parcels from day one which I love as I like to know which day I'm likely to receive them!!
The parcels are packed really well.
Inside your box you will have a personalised name sticker on the top lid which makes it feel really special and unique to your needs.
Within the box you receive the monthly insert with a message from the Wantable team and your box contents letter. This contents letter lets you know what is in your box, how much it retails at and information on the brands and how to use the products.

There are 2 pieces of foam type material to ensure your products are secure and to protect them for their long journey in planes, vans, cars.
Most of the products I have received have been amazing; don't get me wrong, there are a few things I haven't got on with and haven't loved along the way but all in all I am normally very pleased with my boxes as a whole. I have never received a product that hasn't suited my skin tone and foundations I have received have been almost a perfect match!!
Wantable aim to send a range of products so you're not receiving similar items each month. The only thing I receive in almost every box is an eyeshadow however they have all been different brands and varied in colour and forms.
I have unfortunately received a couple of products that have arrived damaged however it is usually that the eyeshadow pots have come loose in transport and I've never lost so much product that I felt the need to complain.
I have contacted their customer service team with queries in the past and have had no problem. They are very efficient with your emails, super helpful and very friendly.
All in all I love this monthly subscription service. Its slightly more expensive than most subscription boxes in the UK which are similar however I have had no real issues with this company and I love how their boxes are made up of premium products and are tailored to the buyer.
The savings you make on the boxes is incredible. I have had boxes worth $120+ and have only paid $46 (Inc. delivery) for everything!!
