Aldi Lacura - Je Suis Belle Perfume - Review

Another trip to Aldi, another Aisle of Shame purchase!

This time I have picked up the Lacura Je Suis Belle perfume which I believe is a dupe for Lancome La Vie Est Belle; although I have never owned the La Vie Est Belle myself, I have heard from many wearers that this dupe is almost identical (and for a fraction of the price). There are 2 other fragrances in this release priced at the same amount;  E1 Exclusive Only which is a dupe for Miss Dior by Dior and Floral Noir which is a dupe for Daisy by Marc Jacobs.

This perfume retails at just £4.99 and you get a whopping 100ml!

If I remember correctly, these were part of the valentines day special buys, however they're still in my local Aldi and on the website/app. Give it a few more weeks and I'm sure that already purse busting price will come down even further as they make room for their new special buys.

The packaging for this perfume is gorgeous. The rose gold metallic box is designed so well, it looks far more expensive and its completely recyclable. The bottle itself is also stunning. I love the diamond inspired lid, it looks totally instagrammable on my dresser. The naming on the bottle is actually printed straight onto the glass rather than using sticky labels which i feel cheapens the look of perfume bottles. I also love that the glass is completely clear and cut perfectly to show off the pretty pink hue of the liquid it holds.

The scent of this particular perfume is Floral and Sweet scented. There are definite notes of strawberry which makes this perfume perfect for summer.

I personally feel that this perfume is slightly too sweet for my liking as I usually go for more musk, wood and oriental notes but this perfume is great for work and everyday wear instead of my more pricey perfumes for special occasions and holidays.

A little of this perfume goes a long way; it's scent is so strong. I've found that this perfume doesn't last quite as long as other cheaper brands I have bought and worn in the past, but there is still definitely some scent left after a full day of wear.

Aldi/Lacura perfume is also animal friendly. I have found with every beauty item I have bought from Aldi to date, all have an animal friendly symbol meaning no animals were used in the production of this perfume.

Did you get your hands on one of these dupe perfumes? Which one?
I'd love to know you're opinions on them; leave me a comment and let me know!
