I am an absolute sucker for fragrances; so much so that I have a shelf dedicated to them!! I've become a little 'nose blind' when it comes to my perfume just recently due to wearing the same fragrances time and time again. I have very kindly been sent the Desigual 'Fun' fragrance to review for you lovely lot!! Lets get started!!
The packaging lives up to its name; its fun!! Bright colours and fun fonts make this particular fragrance one that I would more than likely pick up in store... we've all bought perfumes because of the packaging and bottle design right? The bottle itself is a spray bottle which is a flat circular shape with the fun, vibrant colour theme continuing onto the glass. Also printed onto the bottle is the quote 'Have fun everyday' written around the edges; I love a good quote!! This particular fragrance comes with metal a push on cap, topped with (again) fun coloured fabric which gives the bottle some 'edge'; great for handbags and travelling!!
The fragrance itself I'm not crazy about; it isn't something I'd wear on a regular basis. It's extremely sweet and fruity and I'm more of an Oriental, Woody perfume kind of girl!! I would however wear this on a hot summers day when I need something lighter and sweeter than my usual picks.
The top notes of this perfume are Cranberry with Nashi Pear and White Peach, the mid notes are Passion Fruit, Violet and Peony and the bottom notes are Santal and Teak wood.
I've been wearing this perfume for a few days now and it hasn't gone unnoticed!! Its strong; one spray will do just nicely!! What I like about this perfume is that it lasts all day; I could still smell it after a long 10 hour day at work.
The price tag for this fragrance is £29.99 for a 50ml bottle which falls into the average price range for a fragrance this size.
This is a product that I would pick up in a fragrance shop however it would definitely be bought due to my love of pretty bottles. If I was making a decision based on the fragrance itself, I'd probably leave it in store. As I've said before, it's far too fruity/sweet for me however I think this particular fragrance would be a big hit with teens!!
