Goodbye November, hello December!! November has been a hectic month for me. I feel like I'm 100% worked out, stressed, cold and miserable. December is upon us and lets hope this years is one to remember with lots of exciting plans and of course Christmas and New Years Eve!! I haven't splurged as much on new products this month as I've been paying for Christmas gifts and other festivities however these beauties have crept into my life.
Collection | Speedy Highlighter - £3.99
I'm such a fan of Collection products right now; they're affordable, accessible, quality products and they have a huge range to choose from. I chose to pick up a Speedy Highlighter as I'm lacking in thee highlight department and fancied trying something new.
This product is so easy to use!! Dab it on, blend it in and you're ready to go with show stopping cheekbones. It works amazingly with my pale skin tone, is subtle but can be built up and stays in place all day!! Love it!!
Real Techniques | 2 Miracle Complexion Sponges - £9.99
This month I decided my Original Beauty Blender had seen its final days. I popped into Boots to pick another up when I saw the Real Techniques version of this staple makeup applicator!! I'm so glad I picked this product up; its easy to use, the shape is amazing for getting into smaller areas around the nose/eyes and its cheaper than my OBB for 2 sponges!! My foundation looks flawless and blending is a dream with this product. My only niggle with these sponges is that they seem to soak up more product than the OBB.
Rimmel | Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick | No. 34 - £5.49
I picked up this beauty as a freebie in my 3 for 2 deal at Boots. Oh my jheeze, its good!! At first I thought it would be a bit bright for me being a nude kinda girl but its brought me out of my comfort zone and into something a tad more daunting. Its not neon pink, but its brighter than anything I've ever worn out before. It suits my pale skin tone perfectly and doesn't draw too much attention to my teeny lips. The colour pay off is great for the price; it does need topping up every 3-4 hours but i'm not complaining!!
