What a Christmas!! 2015 has been one of our better Christmases without Mom; it was still tough and we still didn't make a huge deal out of it, but we all got through it together and everything ran smoothly.
We were woken by my youngest brother at 7am and opened our presents together.
My sister came home for Christmas dinner which was lovely as we don't see her as often now she lives with our biological dad.
We spent the day watching films on TV, as well as all the Christmas specials. It was nice.
I have been very lucky this year. I didn't need or want anything for Christmas. I feel that I had everything I need in my life and spending silly money on a tonne of gifts for the sake of it would be a waste.
Again, this is not a bragging post, its purely to answer questions that I have received through social media, for me to look back on in a few years and also for my friends and family to see what I received. Here goes!!
A sonographer at work who I have become very friendly with over the past 8 months was lovely enough to buy me a pair of hoop earrings and a nail varnish (she knows me too well!) in a gorgeous coral red shade.
My best friend bought me a Bomb Cosmetics bath bomb in Strawberry Sunrise which smells amazing and a bottle of Bison Grass Flavoured Vodka which I cant wait to try.
My siblings and I decided not to spend money on each other this year. We never know what we want and it feels like we're buying for the sake of it. We chose to spend what we'd spend on each other on my youngest brother who is still young enough to appreciate Christmas.
My stepdad bought me 7 DVDs that I'd asked for, the new Coldplay album, a Yankee Candle in Cosy By The Fire and 2 Mac lipsticks in Blankety and Velvet Teddy.
My Nana bought me a new bottle of Opium as she knew I was running low and that its one of my favourite perfumes.
I am so incredibly grateful for everything I received this year. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.
