The Christmas Tag

Christmas is very quickly approaching; it feels like our hot July was just weeks ago!! I thought it would be fun to do a Christmas tag. I found this one floating about on twitter and decided I'd join in on the festivities.

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?

There are too many to list. I know all the words to The Grinch so I guess that's probably a sign that it's the fave. Home Alone goes without saying, Elf, Arthur Christmas, The Snowman and I've recently watched Krampus which I quite enjoyed. What was that one about the mum and 2 girls who lived in a department store!? With S Club 7!? That was definitely my childhood fave.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

Christmas morning. When we were younger my mom and stepdad used to buy us a little present to open on Christmas Eve after we'd been to church.

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

I don't really have many Christmas memories. They all seem to be so similar and not one stands out from the rest.

4. Favourite festive food?

I don't really like Christmas dinner. This year we are legitimately having beans on toast instead!! Who wants to spend hours in the kitchen on Christmas Day really!? I guess my fave "festive food" is the tins of chocolates.

5. Favourite Christmas gift?

No idea. I was pretty excited to get my very own personal registration for my car in 2011; not very exciting I know!! I love getting tickets to see musicals with all the girls in my family; this year we're seeing Grease.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

Mulled wine is probably the scent that instantly sets off my inner child around Christmas time. I love the smell of Cinnamon at Christmas, Gingerbread and a good Christmas Yankee Candle.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

As a child we used to go to church on Christmas Eve so we didn't have to rush about on Christmas morning. We then went to my Aunties house where the adults would have a few too many tipples and us kids would have a whale of a time watching South Park together.

8. What tops your tree?

Usually a star. We must have at least 1 in every colour going!!

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

I always asked for Heelies. Never did I get them (probably a good thing considering how clumsy i am). I asked for one of those £300 electric scooters for a few years; safe to say I never found that under my tree either!!

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?

Watching whilst my little brother opens his presents. It's a magical time for him because he's still young.
