Blurb:
"Despite the tumour-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten".

My mom bought me this book for my 20th birthday. Got to say, its one of my favourite books ever!!
I'm not much of a reading person, i'd rather flick through magazines with lots of pictures or "wait for it to become a film". However I could not put this book down!! I'm sure I finished it within a few days and I could read it again and again and still get the same enjoyment out of it!!

The target market of the book is (at a guess) young teen girls. The characters are teens and i found as a young adult i could relate to their lifestyles despite them having a terminal illness which I am not myself effected by. Despite this age range, i'm sure many young adults would enjoy reading this book as I did and also people of an older age.

The plot is very touching as it is about a couple of young adults who fall in love, accepting that they'll have a short life span and will eventually have to live without one another. They decide to make plans for the near future and take a trip abroad to meet a writer they both admire. The book touches the reader as the characters go through many ups and downs. The ending is one I did not predict but I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it yet!!

My only down side to this book is that I wish it was longer!!

The book was published January 2012 so is fairly new. The price of the book new at the time was about £12 from what I can remember, however the book can be purchased (paperback) online from book stores for £3-8.

Final Score: 5/5
