One of ELF's newer products that I have fallen in love with is their baked eyeshadows. The shadows are priced at £3.75 each which I at first thought was slightly expensive for this usually extremely cheap brand, however after receiving them and trying them out I would personally spend double that to get a product this good!! Considering you would pay £8+ for a mac shadow of the same size, £3.75 is a very good price.
The shadows come in 6 different fairly neutral colours each of which are suitable for all eye colours. All shadows give a metallic finish.
I have bought 4 of these shadows in the colours Enchanted, Toasted, Bark and Burnt Plum and am very impressed with each of them.
Enchanted is a perfect gold.
Toasted is a darker golden brown.
Bark is a chocolate brown.
Burnt Plum is a very dark rich purple/wine.
I have found the handling of these shadows to be exceptional, they are very easily blended. They are also extremely pigmented however I still like to mix mine with a bit of makeup fixer solution to get extra pigment out of the shadows and also to prevent as much falling off the lid onto my cheeks.
The amount of shadow that is in each pot is roughly the same as the Mac baked shadows. The photographs do not show the amount clearly - the shadow comes as a half sphere/dome shape so you actually get more than what the photos suggest.
Final Scores:
Price: 5/5
Appearance: 5/5
Handling: 5/5
Sustainability: 5/5
