I had heard a lot about Yankee candles and decided to purchase a few of my own to get my own opinion on them.
At first I was wary of spending a lot of money on these candles as they don't come cheap!! For one of the larger bottled candles you could be spending anywhere between £15-£25!!
Another problem with these candles is the HUGE range of scents, colours, sizes and jars!! There seems to be millions of them to choose from!!

I decided to have a look on Amazon at these candles to see if I could get them a bit cheaper.
I came across a couple of sellers who sold the sample size candles in different amounts from single candles up to 15 candles.
I have now purchased 2 lots of 15 candles. Ooops!!
These boxes of 15 cost me around £22-£24 with free postage which is a bargain considering you get a range of scents and they last a good 10-15 hours burning time each!!
One of the downsides to buying this way is that you do not get to choose which scents are sent to you, however they will not send you a duplicate.

The delivery on both of these boxes was extremely quick for free postage!! I only had to wait at most 2 days.
The packaging for these candles is very minimal but effective. The candles come with a plastic cellophane type material wrapped around them - no boxes no extra useless plastic. As environmentally friendly as can be.
I have received a couple of duplicates in the 2 boxes but no duplicates (as promised) in a single box.
Just a few of my favourites (so far!!):
Pink Sands - A light beachy/holiday scent, reminds me of a bubble-gum/fruity suncream!!
Midsummers Night - A light clean, "manly" scent, reminds me of a kind of aftershave.
Cinnamon Stick - A beautiful, very cinnamon smell, reminds me of Christmas!!
Lemon Lavender - Fresh, tangy but relaxing scent.
Witches Brew - It really does smell of Halloween!! A sweet but earthy scent.
I haven't had a chance to burn all of my 30 different candles as they seem to last me ages!! Each one burns for between 10-15 each!! All of the scents that I have burnt so far give off enough scent to fill through 2 large sized rooms.
I have however noticed that if you put these candles in jars that surround the whole of the candle that the walls of the candle when lit start to melt away and breakdown the whole candle which means the candles last half as long with a lot of wax wastage. I have been burning the candles on a candle plate, this way the candle stays in shape and the amount of waste is very minimal.
Overall I am very impressed with these candles and will be buying more in the future - I might even start on the jars!!
