L'Oréal Paris - Super Liner Black Buster Eyeliner - Review

I get through bottles and bottles of liquid eyeliner and have had a mix of good and bad brands.

Instead of sticking with a brand that I know works, is easy to use and I like, I decided to go on a hunt for something new... its more exciting that way!!

I picked up this L'Oreal Paris Super Liner Black Buster at my local Tesco for £4.50 which is averagely priced compared to similar products on the market.

I love the design of this bottle. It looks like a marker pen and the black with gold detailing looks really modern and sleek.

The actual applicator for this eyeliner is a nib very similar to a marker pen which means no clumps and applying the liquid is more precise.  I love this applicator however I would like it to be slightly narrower so getting super thin lines is possible in a stroke motion rather than dotting it on.

The liner itself smells slightly like a marker pen which I'm not a fan of. It also isn't as dense as I would like it to be so a slower stroke motion is needed to allow the liquid to thicken or a second coat would be necessary; other than that its incredibly easy and comfortable to apply.

Above is a photo of the liner after a couple of hours at the gym. As you can see, the liner does transfer when the eyelid was slightly moist but other than that, its pretty resistant to rubbing, dries almost instantly and stays put for the whole day.

On the whole, this is a really good product and I'll definitely be buying another bottle when this one is done and dusted. The only thing I would change is the smell...and it would be awesome if they made a waterproof version.
