L'Oréal Paris - Elvive Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo & Conditioner - Review

So as most of you are aware, my hair is in pretty bad nick... who am I kidding!? Its beyond repair; or so I thought!!

After scrolling through pages and pages of Google results for 'how to repair damaged hair', I came to the conclusion (thanks to a lot of comments saying the same thing) that I needed to get some protein back into my hair.

I went on a hunt in Tesco for some protein shampoo and conditioner which was reasonably priced and came across these beauties boasting about containing protein!!

These huge 500ml bottles were just £3.99 each which I thought was very reasonably priced seeing as they're bigger bottles compared to the majority of bottles out on the market... except the salon size ones obviously.

There isn't really a scent to these products, they just smell like your average shampoo/conditioner but they're definitely not chemically smelling and far from overpowering.

I have used this combination of products just 3 times and I can already see a huge difference in the condition of my hair.
Before I started using these products, my hair was very 'spaghetti' like when wet. Since using the shampoo and conditioner, my hair is a lost a lot of the elasticity and I am no longer afraid to comb my hair in fear of it all snapping off!!
My hair is also much shinier than it was before the damage was even done and my split ends have become almost invisible!!

Neither of the 2 leave the hair greasy and no heavy residue is left in the hair.

I personally have no issue with my hair falling out, so I cannot comment on the effect on how well these products keep your hair in place however it has reduced the breakage of the tips of my hair a great deal.

By no means am I suggesting that these products will return the condition of damaged hair back to full health as I don't believe its possible however I reckon by using the shampoo and conditioner on a regular basis and trimming split ends every few weeks is the next best thing.

Overall, I am extremely impressed with this combination of products and genuinely cannot fault them. I would strongly suggest to anybody that has damaged their hair through heat or colouring/bleaching to go and get these bottles of amazingness!! They're well worth the £7.98 to restore your hair to a much healthier condition.
I would also recommend these products to all those lucky people with healthy hair as you can't go wrong with a bit of added strength and shine!!
