Rainbow Braid - Rainbow Loom Bands - Review

For those of you with children, you will know loom bands are this years biggest craze across not only the UK but it seems to have taken hold of the world!!

Kids and teens everywhere are getting creative with these mini rubber band like bands and a loom board and creating some amazing stuff.

I for one am addicted to these things!! They're super easy to use and I find it really therapeutic!! I could spend hours creating little animals and bracelets.

I have been lucky enough to receive a 5400 rainbow loom refill set from Home LifeSTYLES!!

You can find these looms from this seller on Amazon here;
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GGALYF8

The 5400 piece set includes glitter, solid and glow in the dark variations in a range of colours.

Glitter; 300 Pink, 300 Blue, 300 Green, 300 Orange & 300 Lilac.
Solid; 300 Red, 300 Blue, 300 Turquoise, 300 Black, 300 White & 300 Navy & 300 Purple.
Glow in the dark; 300 Pink, 300 Blue, 300 Green, 300 Yellow, 300 Orange & 300 Lilac.

Home LifeSTYLES sell these 5400 loom band sets with the 250 s clips for £16.90 with free delivery in the UK. I have purchased other looms in packs of 300 for my youngest brother for £1-2 for a pack of 300 bands and 10 s clips which means for each individual pack sold by Home LifeSTYLES, you are only paying 93p. Bargain!!

Each colour comes individually packed so there is no colour transfer between differently coloured bands. The packs come with 300 bands so there's plenty to be spread between different creations!! As the colours and variations come individually packed, its really easy to organise the bands into a box or by keeping them in their packaging.

The bands have been lab tested to ensure that they are safe for children to use however due to their size, young children should be supervised when using the bands to avoid accidents. (Not recommended for children under 4).

One of the things that I noticed as soon as the packaging was open was that the bands didn't smell as much as much as the more expensive bands I have bought in the past. They still smell slightly rubbery, but the smell doesn't transfer onto your hands and its not as over powering as other bands I've used.

The quality of these bands is the best I've tried so far... and I've tried a lot!! Most other bands that I have used seem to lose colour when stretched, snap and become much weaker when stretched. These rainbow looms don't do any of these things. They stretch about 50% further than my previous bands and don't fade in colour when doing so.

The solid bands are an even colour and do not lose any of their vibrancy when stretched. The glitter bands hold their glitter where as I've noticed with other bands I've used in the past have lost a lot of glitter when stretched. The glow in the dark loom bands are gorgeous colours however they're not as luminous in the dark as I expected.

Overall I am really impressed with these bands and would definitely recommend you to head over to Home LifeSTYLES on amazon to purchase them!! I wouldn't recommend to keep buying the naff ones for more £££!!

Want to test drive the bands first?? Home LifeSTYLES offers a free bag to each customer to trial them out. Take it from me, theres's no need to test them out they're brilliant all round.

Home LifeSTYLES also offer a 365 guarantee on these loom bands!! If you're not happy with your purchase for whatever reason, they will send you a new 5400 refill set free of charge or will refund you your money. By testing these bands, I'm pretty certain nobody will be unsatisfied. Find them here;

DIY Mommy YouTube channel is the best I've come across so far. She is really clear with her tutorials (which there is millions of) and the process of making these cute little animals, bracelets and much, much more is as straight forward as possible. Check out her channel here;
