Oh my jheeze!! I am so excited to have been sent these beautiful little packages from the lovely Emma over at The Jewell Emporium!! Read on to see what's inside!!
Martha the Sausage dog necklace:
I love this cute little necklace...and so do the kids at the school I work in!!
This is the Martha Sausage Dog Necklace and this little cutie is priced at just £10!! This necklace comes in a range of colours so if silver isn't your thing, you don't have to settle.
The doggy pendant is made from a glitter resin and a mould and has a silver coloured short chain. The chain is attached to each end of the glitter pendant so it doesn't move which means you don't end up with the clasp at the front (which drives me barney!!).
As I have the silver Martha necklace I've found that it goes with next to all of my outfits which is a win as I get to wear this beauty a lot!!
I have found this necklace really comfortable to wear and as its so lightweight, I forget that I have it on...until somebody points it out whilst commenting on it.
The only down side to this necklace is the clasp. Its teeny tiny and because it only has one loop for it to link together I find I struggle to do it up myself unless I drag it round to the front and guide it using a mirror. Not the biggest problem, but I do prefer the clasps with multiple loops.
Button Earrings:
As most of you know, I am an earring addict. I have ear 9 piercings!!
Over the past 2/3 years I've found it hard to find earrings that are unique enough to suit my personality but also affordable and a big enough size to make a statement. These ones are perfect.
The earrings come in a range of different colours and designs so if white iridescent isn't your thing, i'm sure there'll be others that totally are!!
These beauties are priced at £4. Now, you might be thinking, 'I can get a set of 4 pairs of earrings at *insert highstreet store name here*' but the chances are, these £4 earrings that you buy will very rapidly lose their colour and turn your ears that yucky green colour. I have been wearing these earrings almost everyday for the past week, and they're still as they were when I received them.
These buttons are a white colour with iridescent flakes and the size similar to a pound coin. The come with the jelly backings which I personally prefer to the butterfly backings as they're easier to get on, don't lose their shape and become loose and don't turn your ears green once you've worn them however they are slightly slippery on the earring and can slide off; these backings I've found to have a good grip so no losing your earrings by midday.
I cannot fault these earrings in any way, shape or form. Love love love.
A few years ago I noticed that the scrabble letter jewellery became a bit of a trend, however I never got around to buying any myself. Thankfully I received these lovely scrabble letter earrings!! And the trend is still going strong; winning!!
The earrings are priced at just £4!! Bargain!!
Again, I have had a tonne of compliments whilst wearing these and I don't blame the lovely people because these earrings are nothing less than awesome.
The earrings come with the butterfly backings which as I stated above aren't my choice of backing, but these ones haven't made my ears green and fit the earring really well.
I do have a couple of downsides to these earrings though. Firstly, the scrabble pieces are slightly different shades and the lettering on the pieces are slightly different sizes although when wearing them it is next to impossible to spot.
Secondly is the backs of the earrings; as you can see in the photo below one scrabble piece has the little legs in the corner whereas the other doesn't. The one with legs means that the backing is further along the earring and I have had it pop off a couple of times.
If the scrabble pieces were identical minus the legs I would have no niggles with these earrings. I love the design to pieces (see what I did there!?).
Lego Man Necklace:
This is my FAVE of the 4 pieces sent to me!!
This little Lego fella again comes in a range of colours priced at just £8 and even comes on a longer necklace for a teeny bit extra £££. It is also made from a glitter resin and a mould however the chain necklace runs through the pendant so the clasp does come round to the front from time to time.
I have worn this necklace almost everyday since I received him and this one has received the most attention. Everybody has commented on how unique it is!!
Again, because of the materials used to make this necklace, its really lightweight and I forget I'm wearing it until somebody points it out.
I have again had no colour transfer from the chain and looks as new as it did the day he came to live with me!!
My only teeny tiny niggle with this little fella is that the mould has left the back of the pendant a bit rough so I do find I get a bit of a red patch where it has irritated my skin.
All in all I am in love with this necklace.
