Here's my first bunch of products that didn't rock my world;
I usually love Aussie products, but this one was not a hit for my hair. I love the smell of this leave in conditioner, but that is as far as my love for it goes. I usually use leave in conditioners after washing my hair to make combing wet hair easier; this conditioner made it no easier for my comb to glide through. It also hasn't moisturised my hair in any way shape or form. The spray seems too direct making it hard to distribute throughout my hair so I've been spraying into my hands first to avoid too much product in one area. I feel that it leaves my hair feeling heavy and quite greasy. Very disappointed.
I had seen so many posts about Maybelline's Baby Lips all over Instagram and I decided to pick a couple up whilst I was in Boots as my lips hate the colder months.
I feel like these were a waste of money and I definitely wish I had only bought one to try out first. They did nothing for my lips, were very greasy on the lips and wore off in less than an hour. They're great for Instagram photos with their bright colours and cute packaging however they're rubbish for your lips.
I LOVE Simple products and I own almost all of their skincare range. It has done my sensitive skin so much good and its great on my purse too!! This product is a downfall.
First off, this stuff always seems to find itself creeping into my eyes, and it stings!! But my main issue with this product is how drying it is. My eyelids were sore, red, dry and cracked; my confidence hit the floor as eyeliner, eyeshadow, foundation and every other eye makeup product didn't sit well on my ruined skin.
My skin is sensitive bit not on a dramatic level. I've never had experiences this bad with eye makeup remover; ever!! Avoid at all costs.
I swatched this little beauty in Boots whilst shopping with my friend and I was in LOVE!! The shadow (I thought) was slightly over priced for a high street brand but I decided I loved it that much I wanted it whatever the price tag was... that was until I put the shadow on my eyes.
The pot states that it gives "intense colour, twice as pigmented than other Bourjois shadows in the first stroke"; no it doesn't. It is so hard to build up whilst dry and not much easier when wet!!
Bourjois also say it holds for 16 hours without fading or creasing; wrong again. I used a range of top end shadow primers with this shadow none of them prevented fading and creasing. It looked horrendous after no more than 2 hours!!
I'm not sure if these problems are just with this colour but after this experience, I won't be spending my money on another colour. Avoid!!
Lord & Berry | Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner - £26.50
I received this liquid eyeliner in my February Wantable Box and at first I was pretty excited as I needed a new liquid eyeliner and this one was waterproof!! Safe to say it didn't live up to its expectations and definitely wasn't worth the extortionate price tag.
The product itself isn't bad at all really, but the applicator and packaging as a whole let it down for me.
