The Wet Brush - The Squirt - Review

Last weekend I received a Wet Brush from Look Fantastic!!

I had seen a number of Youtubers pull these out of their handbags and was curious as to what made them any different from what was already on the market.

The Squirt Wet Brush retails at £11.99 here in the UK and from research prices in the US are around $5-6 which is a huge price difference. None the less, I feel that the price here in the UK is reasonable compared to similar products that are on the market. You can view and purchase your Wet Brush here.

The packaging for this product is a half cardboard, half plastic packaging with a cut out hole at the front so you can feel and test the bristles for yourself before purchasing (provided you are in store).

I received the Squirt brush which is a small handbag sized brush and mine is pink. The Wet Brush collection includes a huge range of brushes of different shapes, sizes, colours and even have brushes for different finishes on your hair.

This particular size is great for on the go however due to its size, it does mean I have to separate my hair making the process slightly longer.

As this is a smaller sized Wet brush, I take this brush with me in my handbag; a quick tip is to dispose of hair on the brush before putting it back in your bag to reduce yucky hair build up at the bottom of your bags and entangled in belongings.

The brush itself is made from a matte rubbery plastic which provides a really good grip when brushing through the hair battling tangles. The shape of the handle is a great shape making it easy to hold and grip for both adults and children.

The bristles are Intelliflex bristles which means they adapt to be either rigid or flexible depending on the type of hair it is brushing and whether its having to work to detangle or just smooth the hair. These bristles are fairly long and have a great distance between each making brushing thicker/curlier hair a lot easier. These bristles have SofTip tips which means they have been dipped twice in the material to prevent them from falling off. These SofTip tips work to massage the scalp whilst brushing encouraging healthy hair growth and the dispersing of natural hair oils.

The Wet Brush can be used on both wet and dry hair without causing damage. Due to this brush being designed to detangle with ease, brushing wet hair doesn't cause snagging and therefore damage the hair when wet. It can also be used on all hair types and extensions and wigs!!

Overall I love this brush!! Its made brushing through my thick curly hair incredibly easy and hasn't damaged my hair whilst trying to detangle cots when wet and dry. I am considering getting a bigger Wet Brush in the future as this one is great for on the go but I would like a bigger brush to cut down on time.

This brush is perfect for handbags, children and all hair types. I cannot fault it.
