I have really struggled to pick out just a handful of favourites this month. I've been stuck using the same 15 odd products and of those, I've managed to narrow it down to my top 4!!
This month I have decided to start moisturising my body. I haven't been a moisturising kinda girl as I cant stand the greasy/sticky/tacky feeling of the products I've used in the past. I chose the Treacle Moon My Coconut Island body butter as I fell in love with the cute packaging and I love the smell of coconut!! This product is very affordable, smells edible (its not!!) and doesn't take forever to sink its way into my skin. Love it!!
Makeup Revolution | Protection Pallette | Light/Medium - £6
After my friend Lizzy questioned me on a million things to do with contouring, I ventured out to find an affordable yet effective contouring palette for her (and myself of course!!). I'd tried a lot of MUR's products over the past few months and couldn't fault many of them if any of them!! I chose the Protection Palette in Light- Medium. The palette comes with 3 cream concealers, 1 setting powder, a bronzer, blush and highlighter. I love this palette. The creams are super blendable yet provide a great coverage and setting powder I chose over any of my higher end powders. The bronzer is about the most perfect shade bronzer for my skin tone that I have come across over the past few years. I can't really comment on the blush as I don't personally use blush and the highlighter is subtle but effective. All products in this palette are easy to apply and blend without heavy build up on the skin.
Organix | Coconut Oil | Hydrating Oil Mist - £6.99
I've had this product for a while now and I'm not 100% sure if its appeared in my favourites list earlier in the year however if it does then it definitely deserves to appear again!! As I mentioned above, I love the smell of coconut and this product definitely ticks that box!! Its super affordable and I love the bottle!! My hair is incredibly dry as most of you probably know; this product adds shine and hydration to the hair without leaving it looking and feeling heavy or greasy.
VO5 | Ultimate Hold | Hairspray - £3.29
I've tried out a few different hairsprays over the past couple of months as I have to tie my hair up for work and my hair is very fly away at the minute...who am I kidding!? Its always fly away!! A lot of hairsprays I've found to be far too heavy for my thin hair and build up too quickly as they're difficult to brush out. This hairspray breaks those rules. Its light, brushes out easily, doesn't make my hair look greasy and it smells so much better than any hairspray I've ever used in the past.
