Disappointing Products - #2

So my lovelies, my disappointing product box was getting a little full which meant I had enough products to rant about!! Again, these are just my personal opinions on these products and they just didn't work for me; its not to say that you wont love them.

Lauren's Way | Pump and Pout Lipgloss - £15.95
I was sent this product to trial and review a couple of months ago and I was so excited to try it out. Unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations and definitely isn't worth the price tag!! My lips didn't plump up, it's uncomfortable, this product is impossible to use over lipsticks and made my lips darker (which is a downside for me as I'm a nude lippy kinda gal!!).

Veet | Face Precision Wax and Care Kit - £10.50
I am a sucker for doing my brows myself. I usually use hair removal creams or my own sugar wax however I wanted to try a home wax kit as I'm aware that using proper waxes can last longer. This product simply didn't work. I followed the instructions to the letter a number of times and got nowhere. It removed a few brow hairs but nowhere near as many as it states!!

Veet | Oriental Wax Essential Oils Pot - £10.69Another Veet product that hasn't rocked my world is the Veet wax pot. I bought this as I was hitting the town one weekend and needed to shave the day before to prep for tanning but didn't want to shave again the next day to remove all miniscule hair regrowth.
Unfortunately this product failed massively. I wouldn't say I was an 'expert waxer' but I have waxed with my own sugar wax for the past year with no problem, so I know the consistency and method for best results. I tried over and over for around an hour with no success apart from a few hairs each time. The strips tear easily and the spatula is useless after a couple of uses/washes!! It wouldn't have been much more expensive to have gone and got my legs waxed professionally!! Avoid.

Makeup Revolution | Focus and Fix Concealer - £2
In my huge MUR haul I purchaced the Focus and Fix Concealer. I love the majority of the products I recieved however this concealer didnt meet the cut. I found that it seems to dry almost instantly so blending is a problem. It clumps a little, looks quite blotchy, sits in fine lines and heavy on the skin. As cheap as this is, I wouldn't spend another £2 on this product.

L'Oréal | Color Riche Exclusive Nudes Lipsticks - £6.99
Okay, so when these first came out (which was a while back now) I immediately rushed to Boots to get my hands on some. I am the biggest nude lippy fan going!! I picked up the Doutzen Kroes and J-Lo lipsticks as they were the palest of the nude shades. Unfortunately these lipsticks disappointed me greatly. The colour pay off is rubbish, I felt as if I was wearing a tinted lip balm and the little colour that was applied didn't last much longer than an hour. Drinking and eating destroyed this lipstick. I definitely won't be purchasing any of this range again.
