Insta Natural - Argan Oil Hair Mask - Review

 

I have very kindly been sent this Insta Natural Argan Oil Hair Mask to try out and review for you lovely lot. As most of my regular readers will know, for the past year or so, I have been dealing with extremely dry hair so hair masks are a huge part of my hair care routine.

 

This product retails at £49.95 which in my opinion is an absurd amount of money for a hair product no matter how desperate your hair is or how good the product is.

 

Insta Natural boasts that this Hair Mask transforms dry and damaged hair into soft, shiny healthy hair; but does it meet the cut?

 

Once I'd opened the tub and found how amazing it smelt (it reminds me of Terry ' chocolate orange!!), I was excited to try it out. It wins for scent; this is one of my favourite smelling hair products of all time.

 

The consistency is very thick; much thicker than any hair mask I've ever used in the past. I felt that because of this, I had to use more product to ensure all hair was adequately covered. This pot isn't going to last more than 5/6 applications on my shoulder length hair.

 

After leaving the Hair Mask on for an hour (I like to get the most out of a product), I was incredibly disappointed with the result. Sadly, my hair felt less hydrated than it did to start with and secondly, it felt as though the product didn't wash out completely despite rinsing completely. The only positive I could find was that my hair smelt amazing.

 

So I had been left with drier, heavy, claggy feeling hair. I washed my hair with my usual products within a couple of hours as I couldn't stand the condition my hair was in and how it felt.

 

Would I buy it again after trialling it? Definitely not, especially considering the price tag!!
