My struggle with dry hair is a daily struggle and has been for most of my life. Its definitely in the genes. This issue has had me on the hunt for hair oils that actually work and agree with my hair without leaving my hair lifeless, heavy and greasy looking.
Here are my top 5 favourite oils!!
Carino | Miracle Oil Argan Oil -£2.99
I bought this in Aldi on a whim about a year ago; everything about the product looked like a "rip off" version of the official Moroccan Oil and cost a fraction of the price, so I thought I'd test it out!! Its fab!! I use a few drops on damp hair after washing and occasionally a couple of drops on my dry ends when my hair looks like is suffering. This product doesn't leave hair full of product and hydrates my dry hair incredibly.
OGX | Coconut Oil - £6.99
2015 has seen a boom in the use of coconut oil. This oil is by far my favourite of the bunch. It can be applied to wet or dry hair at any time of the day. It absorbs into the hair almost immediately without leaving it greasy/wet looking. My hair smells amazing and is so much easier to manage and style when I'm using this product. I'd recommend it to everybody!!
L'OrĂ©al Elvive | Extraordinary Oil - £9.99
I have heard so many people raving about this product and I cant help but join in with them on this one. I use a couple of pumps after washing my hair and because its a heat protectant, it means its protecting my hair when using heat to style after washing. It leaves my hair weightless, non greasy looking and so soft and hydrated. Liquid gold for your hair.
Insta Natural | Argon Oil and Elixir - £69.95
I was sent this product a few months ago and I'm in love with it. Its a mix of 6 different oils which are designed to hydrate hair...and boy do they hydrate hair!! This particular oil is to be left in the hair for at least 10 minutes and then washed out; I tend to leave it on my hair over night to get the best results. I always find myself shampooing my hair twice after using this product to ensure that no oils are left behind which leaves the hair heavy and greasy looking.

Moroccan Oil - £31.85
It feels like such a long time ago since I started using Moroccan Oil and its probably getting on for 5/6 years of having this product in my life. I can't live without it!! A few pumps of this oil through clean damp hair adds moisture which lasts for days. I like to use a pump on my drier ends every couple of days onto dry hair.
