Christmas Lush Haul - 2015

We've all been there; we pop into lush to pick up one item for a gift and end up draining our bank accounts on bath bombs and other things we think we need because they're pretty and smell nice!!

A few weeks ago, I managed to blow the best part of £35 in Lush. Most of which was spent on the Christmas Bath Bombs, Bath Melts and Bubble Bars.

I'm going to give you a run down of what I picked up, how much it cost and whether I think it's worth getting your hands on.

Magic Wand Bubble Bar - £5.25 (not photographed)
Too cute not to purchase. I'm not a pink kinda girl but the fact that it's a wand, in a star shape with glitter, added ribbon with a bell, and the scent of bubble gum meant I couldn't resist!! I managed to get a good 4 baths out of this Bubble bar so it is definitely worth the money. It turns your bath a gorgeous pink colour, creates great bubbles which last over 30 minutes and it smells like sweet bubble gum!! Definitely stocking up on these next time they're in stores!!

Golden Wonder Bath Bomb - £3.95
I had tried this bath bomb last year and was in love with it. Its HUGE!! Last year I cut my bomb into 4 and used it on 4 different occasions however that kind of spoilt the surprise centre bit for me.
This bomb turns your water a lovely turquoise colour with fine golden glitter/shimmer. The scent is slightly zesty which is uplifting however I'd love it if it was more of a Christmassy scent.

Stardust Bath Bomb - £2.95
This is one of Lush's Christmas cheap and cheerful Christmas bath bombs. I split mine in 2 for 2 different baths however after adding half to my bath and not being amazed, I added the second half. This is a pretty bath bomb but nothing spectacular. It turns your bath a milky white colour with an extremely fine white shimmer. Inside this bath bomb are multi coloured little stars (which I found don't dissolve in the time it takes to have a bath meaning you have to clean coloured splodges from your bath afterwards!!). Its very lightly scented in a calming (I want to say vanilla) scent. I don't think I'll be getting this one again.

Dashing Santa Bath Bomb - £2.95
Another re-buy. I purchased this last year and I'm pretty sure it'll be one of my favourite all time Lush products for as long as they keep making them. This little Santa is citrus scented, its smells like satsumas with a slightly woody scent. Its fresh and uplifting; perfect for morning baths. The bomb fizzes really well and turns your water a coral pink sort of colour with very fine golden glitter/shimmer.

Snow Angel Bath Melt - £3.95
This is the one product within this haul that I didn't fall in love with. I like the scent of this product, its soft, calming and lightly floral. scented Again I split this product in 2 but after using half I decided that cutting it into 3 was probably a better idea. I found this bath melt left my skin feeling greasy instead of moisturised. This bath bomb turns your bath a golden colour with fine golden glitter flakes.

Five Gold Rings Bubble Bar - £4.95
I love this product!! Its my first experience with this particular bubble bar but so far it has rocked my world. I love how there are 5 separate rings so you don't have to break off the product and storage is easy without the sloppy mess that reusable bubble bars create!!
These bubble bar rings turn your bath water a gorgeous golden colour with gold glitter!! One ring is enough to fill your bath with bubbles which last a good amount of time.
The scent isn't very 'christmasy'. Its a very light sweet vanilla scent. I still love it, just wish it gave a bit more umph!!

That's a wrap!! Have you tried any of these products?? Let me know what you thought!!

I have videoed all of these products using a waterproof camera however I am still in the process of accessing decent video editing software. Hopefully this time next year I'll be able to post video demos!!
