Primark Perfume Range - Review

I don't know if its just me, but I always like to treat myself to a new perfume before I jet off on my holidays. Apparently we get the strongest of memories from our sense of smell so a perfume is a great way to revisit those holiday moments once your back on home soil.

Primark have recently released their own range of perfumes into their fragrance range. I first read about this release in a magazine and was instantly intrigued to find out more.

I decided to switch my routine of buying an expensive brand perfume for my travels this year and opted for a Primark fragrance instead.

A couple of the fragrances are said to be amazing Dupes for Jo Malone perfumes, however I cannot comment on how accurate this is as I have sadly never owned a Jo Malone.
The design of the larger bottles however are extremely similar to Jo Malone and many other high end brand perfume bottles.

The price of the perfumes is incredibly reasonable. At less than a tenner you can bag yourself a 100ml bottle!!

The Prices are as follows:

£3 for 20ml
£8 for 100ml
£8 for 6x 6.5ml

The Primark Fragrance range includes the perfume, room spray, reed diffusers, hand cream and a few more; these all come in 6 different fragrances:

Vanilla Absolute
Amber Noir
Jasmine and Honey
Mandarin and Basil
Rose Oud
Pomegranate and Black Tea

There are a mix of fragrances for both day time and night time wear. There is a scent for a mix of ages, seasons and personalities.

I spray tested all of the fragrances on various parts of my hand (and arm and partners hands and arms!!) and after a few minutes I couldn't differentiate between them all. I would love it if Primark could supply the little spray card strips to help people decide.
In the end I picked up the Fragrance Collection for £8 to try all of the fragrances out before making my final decision. This collection box contains a 6.5ml roller ball bottle of all 6 fragrances. If you're struggling to choose between a few or are just struggling to smell them all properly, I would definitely recommend this collection box.

The perfume I chose predominantly for my holiday was Pomegranate and Black Tea. For a while I usually only wore the perfume in the evening when we were going out to restaurants however by the end of the holiday, I loved it so much I was wearing it throughout the day.

The scent of the fragrance lasted many, many hours. I could still smell it after a long hot day at the Florida theme parks and there's still a subtle fragrance even after washing my clothes!!

Now that I'm back, I use the perfume occasionally and I'm instantly flooded with Holiday memories.

Definitely worth a buy ladies!!
