Christmas Decoration Haul

Christmas is approaching, and its coming fast!! I cant believe its almost been a whole year since last Christmas. Am I the only one that feels like this year has flown by!?

Now that I've moved out, I've had to find my own tree and decorations. We started when we were in Florida (yes I know it was September, but there's a 365 days a year Christmas shop within Universal... 2 of them in fact!!).

Naturally, I chose the prettiest tree in B&Q. Its called the Tula, it set us back £70, its very glittery and its SILVER! At home we have always had a traditional green false tree so I thought I'd make my own mark on Christmas this year with something a little more 'me'. As much as I'd love a natural tree, I can't bring myself to be so wasteful...that and the fact they create a lot of mess with their needles.

This year we have decided to decorate our tree in silver, white and red; not too traditional but still Christmassy. This was partly because the decorations we had bought at Universal (before we'd purchased a tree) were made up of these colours.

The tree isn't going up until December. As children, my mom always said we could put it up no earlier than the weekend 2 weeks before Christmas. This year, I'm working that weekend, so I'm pretty sure well have to break moms rules and put it up the first weekend of December... This weekend!!

Decoration buying has been happening almost once a week. We decided that as the shops all stuck their Christmas stock out on 1st November, that we'd buy a few things each week; this way we didn't feel like we were forking out a tonne of money all in one go.

Naturally I headed to Primark to see what Christmassy bargains I could find. Unfortunately, a lot of their decorations were Disney themed and in colours that wouldn't suit our tree.
Asda however have an amazing range of decorations this year!! We've picked up a tonne over the past few weeks whilst doing our weekly shop.

No doubt there'll be a lot more decorations to be added to our collection over the next few weeks. I don't however think that I'll be doing another Christmas decoration haul this year as my time is being spread so thin over the next few weeks with work and Christmas preparations. I will however keep you all updated with all things Christmassy, Keto, beauty, booky and Fibro on the run up to the big day!!
